THE ARAB EVANGELICAL CHURCH OF DUBAI is a non-denominational Arabic Evangelical Church comprising about 200 persons including Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, Iraqis, and several other nationalities. The first meetings out of which this fellowship has developed were held in Dubai and Sharjah in early 1976. The AECD now offers a full church program of weekly worship and preaching, as well as outreach meetings, prayer gatherings, care groups and Bible instruction for every age group. Many expatriate Arab Christians working in Dubai and Sharjah are making AECD their church home.

The purpose of the AECD is: To be a vital Arabic evangelical Christian community in Dubai, individually and corporately worshipping God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and growing in our knowledge of, love for, and likeness to Him; serving our Lord Jesus Christ through sensitive gospel proclamation and compassionate service in His Name and through continually encouraging, instructing and training one another toward maturity in Christ.
